I work with directors and performers to shape moments of conflict, intimacy, and physical risk into clear, repeatable choreography that serves the story.
Fight direction
My training includes unarmed combat, single sword, quarterstaff, and two-handed sword through the Academy of Fight Directors Canada. I have trained privately with Jean-Pierre Fournier, assisted his teaching at the University of Alberta, and attended the national stage combat certification conferences in 2022 and 2023.
Intimacy direction
Drawing on training with Theatrical Intimacy Educators and Intimacy Directors and Coordinators, I bring clear communication, consent-based processes, and specific choreography to intimate scenes. My approach supports performers’ boundaries while giving directors and ensembles room to make bold artistic choices.
